New News for the New Yer... :)

I started going back to school last Jan 3, and I must say it was kind of hard to get back in pace with normal school life. Me and my friends, having resolved to tighten our belts in the effort to put a little weight into our pockets and out of our bellies, have resolved to walk all over campus instead of riding the jeep, unless absolutely necessary. In all truth, despite my earlier declaration of not having a resolution, being around people who have resolutions have actually affected me enough, so much so that despite all my years of trying, the year I finally resolve to not have a resolution will probably be the only year I've had one, so far. Ironic. Anyway, resolution 1 is to keep a close watch on my spending. 2. keep a close watch on the number of books i read, hopefully to be able to list both down too. For the book thing, I have a goal to read at least 10 books for the whole year. In response to resolution 1, Vigile, Bong and I have devised a humble saving strategy of Temptaion and Fasting. Nothing drastic, we just wanted to use extravagant names. ^_^;

Anyway, I know I can be fickle sometimes, but I think its a good resolution, and I've never been able to think of a good one before, so sue me. I'm typing this online right now... *tsk, tsk...* and have to cut this short anyway cause I learned that some people don't read long entires anyway. I figured just as much.

Vigile also gave me a very pretty wintery card. Though she might hate me for this, I admit that I was a little flabbergasted (??) that she wrote on the card. ^^; Weird that I should think that. It's a Card for goodness' sake! But it was such a pretty card. T_T I think i'll buy another one if I see it again in some bookstore. *eyes widen in realization* Oh no... my temporary Winter obsession seems to have escalated a bit... tsk, tsk... must have gotten too attached to my lay-out. -__- Well, Vigile is autumn, afterall, and Sig dwells within the Spring of the Lotus, (a little joke, nvm)....

Well, just wanted to add that on the night of January 1, in a vain and sleepy attempt to finally read my econ chapters, I decided to go join bernice on her daily marathon of torture. Although her DWoT often lasts for 4 hours, I only had the stamina to join her for 30 min. (Imagine that... -__-) It was 1 am then. Afterwards, I managed to force Bianca and Bernice to walk home so I could go home, and we had (for the first time in a long time) our very own Chanuyo. It was nice way to end the first day of the year, just sitting and talking about a lot of things.

BTW, about that Daily Walk of Torture, I was just commenting to Bern a while ago that her walk is pretty effective, since I only joined her once and today, I recieved 2 comments that I grew thin, the complete opposite of what is expected to happen during Christmas break. In that respect I am very lucky, sort of. ^_^

i dunno what chanuyo is but it reminded me of something Jin likes during the holidays. i forgot what it's called but its this dinner table that has a heater thing under it and has blankets attached to is so that people feel warm while eating. ^_^ ahaha.

btw, how's bianca and bern doing together? T-T
