Back From Vacation!

I spent the last couple of days (since Saturday) away from home. games, food and bonding...(?) ^_^ Here's the barest skeletal synopsis of the last few days.

Planning Sem
I really like my committe. ^^ Go PubComm!! We have reconginzed and proven the existence of "PubHumor" and the Mafia adhoc has grown much much larger. Also, we got to acquaint ourselves with the org's new members, got to enjoy the fun games the IC prepared (yeah! War war war!!! XD) and we were able to stuff ourselves with tons of food, living in what my roommates call: "buhay baboy". It's funny. ^^ And my group won the Matrix Simulation and the org has now extensively recognized Bong's acting talent and Vigile's dancing skills. Imagine, Bong was just doing some bangag adlib of a presentation and Vigile was even commiting mistakes of all sorts, but in the end, BOng got a best actress award and Vigile got the most praise and awe among the other performers (even more than the leader of CE's BACBACAN cheerdance and the group's choreographer. Imagine!!! And i'm sure of this cause I was innocently sitting in the audience, hearing each and every comment. ^^)

Vigile and I also got to bond a little under (what a great coincidence!) really really beautiful fireworks. It was so extravagant, I actually pitied the person who'd have to spend for it. It was so pretty, and for some weird reason, apparently we were the only 2 people in the org who were able to watch it. 0_o

We spent 4 days and 3 nights in Bulacan, and we slept at 4:30 for the slogan session on the first night, woke up at 7(?) And then on the second night we slept at around 3:30 for the Matrix Simulation (and my group was the earliest already I think) and woke up at around 7(?) and for the last night.... we slept at around 3 playing Mafia and woke up at 9am. Sorry about the question marks, mornings were pretty much a blur to me. ^^ Simply, we didn't really sleep.

On our way home, we dropped by SM north, and afterwards, we went to school to chack our grades in BA and Stat. Damn! Our stat grades our late!!!

And it's sad to realize that so many people won't be around for the next planning sem... T_______T

Merville
Yum!! More food. @_@ Food... Well, Merville has always been a place of good food. And on the last night (because apparently the cook got infected by my colds -_-) we were treated out to Yellow Cab. Saya!!! We were also given bags and bags of chips!!! YEah!!

And we also played a ton of games. Well... technically, it was just one game, but it was a TON of rounds. For some weird reason, we got unexplainably addicted to Kimmy's Monopoly. It's amazing, cause none of us (i think, except probably for Kimmy) have never played or finished a monopoly game before. But this time, we stayed awake till 4 am just playing it. It's fun, especially with tag teams and without Dwelly. XD

We also bonded a little. Cause someone *cough cough* proposed we play a truth game. Well... it was pretty fun and kind of interesting. And I wager someone feels greatly relieved that we played it and that something is off her chest. ^^ /ok

AND WE WATCHED ADVENT CHILDREN!!! I DUNNO WHY, BUT I REALLY REALLY REALLY LIKE IT!!! I know i keep on saying it, but whoever thought of you-know-what is really good. ^^ Although I guess I do have to admit that it's mostly fighting scenes and you have to be familiar with the game. But that's ok. It was fun.

And Sig told us a little story from a nice book that I've been trying to get my hands on since several months ago... XD

And I just saw a kind of freaky anime on TV... something about a teacher and a student falling in love with each other. Except the teacher is an older woman, and the guy is a smallr and younger kid. Grabe! They were holding hands and the guy was only about as tall as her shoulder. -__-

And so I'm back home, ready to catch some Z's and finally rest. Hmm... Vigile was actually sleeping the whole day yesterday. -_- Lucky that I wasn't as tired. I got to play an extra game of monopoly. XD

~NERD/GEEK MODE~ Footnote on Monopoly: Vigile and I shouldn't be put against each other in Monopoly. We apparently keep fighting, disliking each other, keep talking edge-ily, arguing, getting pissed and all.... Cause for some bizarre reason, we end up buying up each others property, and we go through hell trying to haggle with one another. And this is the part that we can get along with everyone but each other. So we practically claw each others guts out trying to trade porperties which of course can't have the same value. -___- The reason? I see things in terms of future potential benefit (goodwill) and she sees things in terms of future forgone benefit (opportunity cost). Our BA and Econ training really clach in this respect. ^^ But hey! In real life one really pays for goodwill when a company is sold right??? Humph! (Peace Vigile! Although I can see your point as I've had some econ training.)

Sorry for the typos... I've been spotting and correcting a lot of mistakes, and it's probably due to the fact that I'm tired and excited to post. Sorry!

aiyt, everybody knows economics strive on speculation. besides, if you look at it, we're just on different sides of the same coin...kinda i think. i can't expound on that coz i have NO IDEA what goodwill is.
