Mutterings...
A talk with Sig and Vig(ile) revealed that Kimmy's blog is an angry blog, Sig's is a sad blog, Vigile's is a problematic blog, Tracy's is a story blog (of course...) and my blog is just a patchwork of whatever narration I drag from the top of my head. Hmm... I guess that's what happens when you try to blog whenever you can, but only get to do so when you find a few spare minutes with which to cram in whatever it is you can remember at the moment. Tsk, tsk...
Anyhow... and so I rant. My aunt came from Baguio, and she brought us strawberries. Joy! And I also have 2 new 2006 planners. I'm gonna try to use them both, but it's kind of hard. AHh!
And anyway, I have a feeling that a lot of people in Greenhills (selling cellphones that is) may be crooks or something anyway. Or at least they won't do anything that they can't profit from. It's evil sometimes, how they cheat people. I even have a sinking feeling that some of the cellphones sold to them may be stolen. tsk, tsk. Anyway, i don't think people should buy from that place. If you want a good deal, get one in a place where people aren't desperate and willing to cheat to find a good deal for THEMSELVES. If you sell a phone to them, they'll sell it at around 2 grand more. But if you buy it directly from the original owner, you get it at the real, 2thousand less price. Or at 1 grand less and the seller gets 1 grand more. If only there was a better network for buyers and sellers. It's simply a matter of finding a better meeting point without those people in between. So honestly, if you want to buy a phone, find someone who wants to sell and get a direct source. You'll both be happier for it. :D
And anyway, I had to go to the dentist yesterday to have my braces' molar cap reattached. Incidently, it was in Makati, quite near the venue of the attempted coup. There was some debate on it becoming another People Power, but I think it's pretty clear right now that it wasn't. For one thing, nothing big really came out of it, certainly not PGMA's stepping down. Besides, it wasn't as widescale as the previous ones. GMA is obviously power crazy though. I doubt I'll ever live to see the day of her stepping down, unless the times gets really bad and extreme. With assassinations and everything. She is extremely power hungry and overly attached to her position. Oh well.One thing is for sure, no one will be content while she's in power. >_<
Anyway, I got my narrative critiqued in class. It was a mortifying experience. But at least it wasn't all bad. And our classmates comments were even worse. X_X When asked what our piece was about, for instance, a classmate descirbed Bong's character as weak, and then my piece as dull. Guy classmates have the worst comments though. I wonder how it'll be like if we actually succeeded in preroging for that CW10 teacher Bong and I originally settled for. Hmmm...
And about my new cellphone, (I finally have a new one! after several months!) I realized lately how bad I feel about buying one. I never realized that spending such a big amount of money like that can get me so disturbed and guilty. Not that it was really big. It was actually quite reasonable. Less than Bern's phone, for one, and they're both second hand. But we really shouldn't be spending much money right now. X_x The satisfaction of getting a new phone is not worth the guilt I got over spending money to buy it. Or the worry I currently have of losing the phone. Considering my luck... X_x
Feb is ending! UPCAT results are coming! 1 month left in school!
I think I like Feb, in general. :D
BTW! France has about 7 tickets of free ice skating in mega mall that will expire on Feb 28. Anyone interested? That's 2 days. ^^;
And White Dragon is nice. I'm starting to see dragons everywhere. Hehehe... ^_^;
