I watched 300 a while ago with Stacy! 300! 300! Let's watch it again! XD
I must say though, there were several times during the movie when I wondered if it was given the wrong rating. I mean, Underworld was R18, but 300 has more gruesome effects, and not to mention more *ahem* erotic scenes. But overall, it was really cool. :) I thought the way they fought was interesting, plus this is one of those few films when the on-screen characters really strike down the people you feel like hurting yourself. XD I swear, it feels so frustrating when you really want a certain character to, i dunno, get slapped, hit, kicked or whatever, and the characters on screen simply resort to glaring or swearing. Argh. Strike them down!!! Kill! Kill!! XD
Forgive the war freak outburst, my English 1 teacher says that watching movies like these (her specific example of a violent bloody flick was Kill Bill) can really help relieve pent up stress, frustration, and other negative whatevers, without you having to resort to something drastic yourself. I don't know if that's proven or if it works, but I swear, if you watch the film, I'm sure you'll feel the same desire for certain characters to meet their doom. ^_^; So it's not just me and a hidden lust for blood. XD
It's a good movie. Go watch it.
