Butterflies/Flutter
tired and sad. :(

Finally, our 186 report is over. *sigh of relief* Those sleepless overnights, meetings, workshops, and the general rush of panic, I'm so glad we're through. (Not that I didn't enjoy the company of my groupmates though. I think we comprise a very interesting bunch. :D) Hay... Too bad our report wasn't as fabulous as the ideas we generated. :( It's a bit sad to see something you've worked so hard on come down to so little. :(
The actual report: I actually felt the weight of disaster while it was going on. The helpless feeling that makes you wish you could turn back time and use inexistent hours to change what can't be taken back. I actually think I gave up halfway and accepted the ultimate inevitability of a really low grade for the report. :( :( It's a sad feeling.
The strange thing is, it's been happening to me since last semester. Whenever my group ends up getting the second slot as reporters, no matter how ready we feel beforehand, it usually ends up rather disastrously. Take my 101 report, my professor actually stopped us (abruptly and rather inconsiderately) in the middle of our report because she thought we were doing horribly, then went on to criticize us so my classmates would consequently give us low scores in our evaluation. Then there's this semester's law report. We felt so ready, yet in the end, my professor made it clear how inadequate our report was. AArrrgghh! The number 2 must be my UNLUCKY number. Grabe. It doesn't even matter who my groupmates are, as long as we're in the second reporting slot, it turns out to be a disaster.
(Forgive the absolute fallacy this entire entry is trying to declare. It may be absurd, but allow the lapse of logic just this once. I need a rant outlet.)
sad sad sad...
On a brighter note, at least our group looked really cute for our report. hehe. We wore matching black and gold outfits, and had a fun photo shoot after our report. :) Aji tried to straighten my hair with a flat iron, but my relaxed-damaged-hair wouldn't stay straightened even after "10 years of ironing". It took around over a minute per section, just to get it straightened out, but within the hour, it was wavy again. XD But it was nice while it lasted. :p
Also, my groupmates and I got to watch a whole bunch of Korean movies together. There was one where one of my groupmates actually cried. I liked that particular movie as well. *wink wink* We also watched 2 others, one I almost barfed thrice while watching, due to certain scenarios with booger, phlegm and what not. ^^;
Also, I got to meet up with the trio. :) Shocking revelations were uncovered, like the fact that Jollibee removed the coffee jelly and mais con yelo ice craze from their menu. *gasp* Hehe. just kidding. Though I don't think i want to mention these revelations (the real ones), the keywords to them are: states of america. T_T
AND... I'm now currently reading the Giver. Shocking ain't it? I'm only reading now what so many others have read in GRADE SCHOOL. Hmm. Well, since I've heard it's a really good book, then its better now than never I guess. :)
I noticed a few typos in this entry. If there were others i failed to catch, I'm apologizing as early as now. I'm a little absent-minded right now. or tired. and sleepy. or all of the above. @_@ I kind of don't feel like rereading the entry. Z_z
