My professor said that crammers subconsciously begin working based on their knowledge of their own capacity and what they can handle. For instance, a person who can come up with a decent 5-page paper in a very short span of time probably won't start working till the last possible hour before s/he has to. On the other hand, if a person generate ideas like a snail, and writes these down even slower, then his/her idea of cramming might be to start about a whole day before submission. Something like that... And a person isn't usually aware of this phenomenon, although of course none of us are in the extremes of such slowness/fastness that the difference is likely unnoticeable.
I cram. But given my slow reading speed, I believe I always overestimate myself. :p
Anyway, somethings I neglected to mention in my previous novel-of-an entry:
1. I have received my first paycheck (more than 2 weeks ago?)! I think. Woohoo!! Except don't expect a dinner from me yet, cause my paycheck is about 3% of Vigile's. So I don't think I can treat you guys out, except for isaw or fishballs, without drink. :p With that in mind, maybe it isn't really my first paycheck, and I'll just treat you guys out when I really get a job and a real paycheck. hehe..
Details details.. I was hired by Stacy's Tracy (a.k.a. her older sis) who's currently working for ABSCBN as head stylist. She needed someone to tally all her accounts, and receipts, etc. to get them reimbursed or liquidated or something, which I soon discovered was a pretty messy and tedious job. Though not that hard, it can get tiring. :p It turns out they needed me to tally double the amount of what Stacy told me on the phone, but then again, they paid me more than I expected, considering I expected lower than minimum wage, i think. (Again, :p.)

That's the place... and the only pic I took. Out of propriety, it seemed wrong to sneak out pics of the set. ^^;
So there I was working in the art department/dressing room (on set, naks!) with people.. *ahem ahem* dressing. 0_0 It was a
fanta-serye, so the costumes were interesting. Plus the people there were really quite accommodating. (
UP-clickish sila. XD) And I got to roam the set (everything was covered in blue screen, haha!), and I got to see some actors (though I don't know their names). Plus I got to practice using the calculator with my left-hand, and I got a little spare cash. :D The first day took 12 hours? That was 10am to 10pm, if i recall correctly. Overall, it was really quite an interesting experience. :)
2. I downloaded (on whim) the movie
The English Patient. I haven't watched it yet, but since the book was pretty good, I decided to give the movie a try. Keep you posted! (Hopefully.)
3. I was just wondering, has anyone ever noticed the fact that the words bitchy and nasty seemed to have, i dunno, reversed meanings? Nasty used to describe a mean and rude thing, while bitchy used to be the more sexual term. Now, nasty has a sexual connotation, and bitchy is the term used for mean-ness. I think. @_@
And for more recent news:
I tried a vector experiment. Not very pleased with it, but its ok. :p

And Stacy sent me a link to the store
Baby the Stars Shine Bright. Apparently, it really exists, and both Stacy and I found somethings we liked in their website. XD
And I've finally found time to crack open the book I'm currently reading. It has reached it's climax, and I almost (but not quite) shrieked at some revelation. XD Things are really speeding up and going REALLY well. *nods head* It makes me grin just remembering it. Less than 50 pages till the end.. though I kind of wished it was longer. ^_^
Seeing the partial results of the 116 exam, I can't say I'm optimistic about passing. Too bad I flunked the easiest exam of the semester. But then again, more than half of us did, I think. And at least I got a number that only 5 or less answered correctly. The answer was probably too damn simple nobody thought it was possible. My one ray of teeny-tiny glory. ^^;
And I've been living in "tag-hirap mode" recently. All cause I have to save up for the following:
1. a new phone.. mine's pretty close to conking out. X(
2. harry potter 7. I'd never imagined that such an item would EVER make it into my to-buy list.
3. digi cam. Bianca's grand plan. But I wanna share. :p
AH! New Kwak pic! Our doggy reminds us of a dragon.

Grawr!
And that's it. I'm sleepy, plus I have to start studying. I'm beginning to doubt if i'll ever finish reading my Auditing materials. I'm so dead.
