Maan! I've been having the unluckiest week!!! First there was the exam, then followed the unluckiest thing that's happened to me since the start of this sem:

WALLET=STOLEN

AAaaaaarghh!!! I left it inside my bag, in the tambayan, with my other friends' things, secure that there was a LOT of people in the room. We went down for a bit, and then we came back to a shockingly empty room. The worst part was that my bag was weirdly wide open. Hmm.. Suspicious. A quick search proved that my wallet was missing. I called home to see if I left it, praying that I did, knowing that I didn't. *huhuhu* But it's gone. Gone. Argh..

It just so happens that THAT was the worst time for my wallet to get stolen. Unlike normal days when I'm usually left a pauper with almost no money in my possession, that day was one of the few and rare times that I actually had quite a lot of money in my wallet. Why? Cause I've been starving and depriving myself FOR WEEKS now just to save up the necessary amount to purchase the newest Harry Potter book. Arrgh! That book costs a lot! I had a little over 2 grand in my wallet, cause aside from those savings, I was also holding on to 'my first paycheck' (as I mentioned a few posts earlier). As I was told, traditionally, you shouldn't spend your first paycheck on yourself, hence I was still in the process of figuring out what to do with it. XP Maan. I rarely keep money in my wallet, and the rare times that I do, it gets stolen?? Plus, to add a little more sugar over everything, Bianca gave me some money that morning to buy her something. She didn't have change, so she gave me a rather big bill, the excess of which I placed in my wallet. So now, I have to pay her for her money, doubling my loss to an extent. >_<

CURSE THAT WRETCHED THIEF!!!!

Gee, weeks worth of money and hard hard sacrifice leads to enriching someone of obviously no morals and decency? That is soooo wrong. Am I a bad person? I mean, I always give back money that doesn't belong to me. Just last Monday, I paid a trike 6 bucks and got a change of 8. 0_o I returned the change immediately. Also, I found some money on the counter in the BA coop, and immediately gave it to the coop ladies, instead of pocketing it though they didn't know it was there. They thanked me profusely, as if they didn't think it was normal.

Hmm.. The first time I actually attempted to buy a Harry Potter book, this happens. Why is it that the only time I actually try to save for something, and I was really looking forward to it, disaster decides to strike? Does someone out there in this world hate me that much? *huhu*

Since I was left with but a few coins, I had to resort to asking people to treat me out for food. The SHAME~ (As some of you may know, I'm not very fond of asking people such a thing, and occasionally, I decline such offers when made with no reason, even when made by friends. If not, I choose the cheapest possible alternative, so as not to burden the person.) But since I'm already experiencing financial loss, not to mention that I'm now also deeply in debt, incurring more debt seems a little distasteful. And since I feel so grossly cheated, I've temporarily suspended the "cheapest alternative" rule. *waaah!* Desperation drives hard bargains with little choices. :(

What was inside my wallet anyway? Aside from a lot of HARD EARNED cash, there was my driver's license, my Laking National Card, my National Discount card, my (and vigile's and tracy's) Timezone Powercard, my favorite kada pic, my cousin's address in Chicago, my ID pics, my Greenwich card, my G video card, the little religious relic Stacy gave me from her trip in Europe (tama?), some Pub memorabilia, my Belay card (a requisite for wall climbing), 4 unused internet cards, 2 Azta gift checks, my Harry Potter reservatoin receipt, and a lot of other things I can hardly remember. T_T And National has a policy that without the receipt, they won't value the reservation. That's another 500 down the drain, unless I can somehow convince them to waive the policy. I can't be the only person in the world to have lost his/her receipt. >_<

And to think most thieves just take the cash and throw the wallet and all its contents away. Please! People pray that my wallet finds its way back to me! Or at least those cards, and driver's license! X(

MARK THIS DAY: JULY 19, 2007, as the unluckiest day I've had so far this year. (Come to think about it, my cellphone that got stolen 2 years ago was also stolen around this time, 1st sem.)

And have I mentioned that my phone is totally busted? I went for intervals without service cause my phone (as I previously mentioned) keeps rejecting my SIM. I found out the same day, July 19.

And my misfortune doesn't end there. The same day my wallet was stolen, I woke up for the first time in my life with a really really bad headache. I rarely have headaches, let alone bad ones, so its a big deal for me. And of all mornings, I also had to write a paper on an article I had yet to read, and cram it all before my 10am class. Bad ominous start ne?

Then when I got to school, to my shock, our powerpoint for our 10am report was still unfinished. We were Group 1 and likely to be up first, so we had to scramble around for a laptop. When we finally found one, it didn't have internet, and our ppt was uploaded. -_- So we had to find another and get it. And the borrowed PC had the audacity to keep hanging and stalling while we were panicking, since my teacher had arrived. Urgh. We must have been quite a sight. -_-

And today, my bad luck continues, this morning, my dog actually escaped the house, and ran out of our open gate. 0__0 I was screaming my lungs out to get her to come back, but she must have found the freedom exhilarating since she was running freely for the first time and not heeding our calls. She actually ran down the road as fast as she could, much to my panic, and even some of the next door construction workers joined the chase. Considering how small she is, and how muscular her build, I really was worried she'd escape. We eventually grabbed her back, and though our helper hugged her in relief, I gave her a big spank for misbehaving. Grr...

And finally, as I was on my way home, to my shock, the jeepney station transferred YET AGAIN. For two days, I had to walk round the block just to get to where they were parked near Latasia, the vegetarian eating place, and then today, upon getting there, I found out that they were back in their usual spot, which was quite a distance away. And to make it worse, while I walked sulkily down the road, it starts to rain. -_- I didn't have an umbrella, plus I was wearing black, the worst combination for a humid wet afternoon. Here's the whole route. My regular route is the light blue one, and the new one is the darker blue. Imagine, those boxes are school buildings. -_-

I finally got to the jeep after getting a bit wet, and of course, the jeep was all stuffy and humid. While the jeep was making its trip, it stopped raining. Much to my relief. The ride wasn't very comfortable, due to the humid weather, and my foot got stepped on really hard at one point, though accidentally. >_<

And then, just as I was about to get down from the jeep, the rain started again. -_- As if the rain stopped to wait for me to get out of the jeep again so that it could wet me. -_- I walked home as fast as I could in the rain, relying on the CE jacket as my only cover. To cheer myself up, I took some pictures. :) (I know it doesn't seem like it's raining, but it is. And my phone though faulty, did its job okay, protected as it was from the rain with its crystal case. ^^)

Then when I got home, brown-out. Perfect.

magbabalik ako ng extra change tas mamaya mawawala yung money ko *nahulog, nanakaw, or may kelangan bayaran...* hay, daya noh???? sana tinago ko na lang yung extra change para di nabawasan yung money ko lol

isipin mo na lang gen, mapupunta sa good use yung pera mo. malay mo, may sakit yung nanay nung magnanakaw or something.

hindi ko matanggap na may sakit yung nanay nya, kasi nung time na yun, nasa ospital pareho si Bern at yung lola ko! Haaay, sana ibalik man lamang niya kahit wallet lang. T__T
