Marking this day.
i'm sorry they didn't come, I hope you weren't really waiting. i hope you're happier now, wherever you are..
Grr...
3:11 PM
It's so frustrating when the subject you relied on to pull up your grade lets you down. T__T I was doing well in ********, but I fell short of my target grade by 0.7 points.. or if you really think about it, since my professor usually rounds up our grades, I fell short by 0.2 points. Gaaah!
I'm starting to think my sembreak is ruined..
10:42 AM
One exam to go, and no brain cells left to face it. @__@ But yeah, that's 2 papers, 1 report, 1 probset and 2 exams down since the last time I've seen my friends, last October 13, i guess?
Having to study in the midst of this sembreak is almost next to impossible. With the TV on for almost the entirety of my waking/study hours, Bianca talking about books I've let her read, Tracy calling on the phone, and the rest of the kada even planning slumber parties between my exams, the distractions are crazy. @_@
Besides, after my last exam (started 3thirty ended at 8thirty), I really don't think I can handle more studying. *sobs* Especially since I think I flunked it (not a very improbable assumption considering a lot of people tend to flunk the said subject and I've flunked 2 out of our 4 exams already. Note that the two I passed were exactly on the passing score of 65.) This is starting to look hopeless.
But I really shouldn't complain, Kimmy doesn't even have a sembreak. u___u
Bad Omen?

I knocked down a glass as I sat down for dinner tonight, and it broke much too easily. I didn't even realize that it was there and it was broken already. @_@ Except I heard the crash so I knew it was my fault. Then, after I finished eating dinner, the glass I used was knocked down and it broke as well.
Could it be that I'm about to flunk 2 of my last 3 exams for this semester? NOOOO!
Class is out!

But I've still got a long way to go before finals are up, since my exams end on the 26th, and as of now I have 3 exams, 1 report, and 1 problem set to go. But I shouldn't be whining. Kimmy doesn't even have a sembreak. Idol! XD I don't think I can handle not having a sembreak.

But anyway, I was studying in McDo with my new best friend. Hehe.. For those of you who still don't know, my beloved Creative MuVo mp3 player and flash disk is gone. T_T Has been for several weeks (or around a month?) now. I was so shocked to discover it was gone.
Also, I've finally used up all my McDo gift certificates. Thank goodness! That leaves me with just my Bo's coffee GCs though. And I'm not really a coffee person.
But anyway, since I just finished my 147 exam yesterday, I decided to take a break and hang out and frolic for the night. ^_^; Ivan, Levs, Aldrin and I went to KFC katipunan for dinner, but not without seeing GIL in the jeep with *ahem*Hanna*ahem*. We texted Gil to ask where they were going, and he completely DENIED that he was with anyone. He said "ako lang to... etc." Yeah right! We saw the others already. But anyway, since he was so keen to keep up with this charade, we invited him to have dinner with us. Hehe.. Levs treated me (yay!) and we got to talk about CE and the revival of certain personalities in the current mems (ex. Gil=Virge, Aldrin=Elke).
Totoo naman. ^_^; But anyway, Gil finally admitted that he was supposed to go tutor Hanna in accounting, so we rushed of to Bo's where they were studying. (
Padeny-deny pa kasi!) And amazingly, I discovered what a nice study place Bo's is. ^_^ Cool cool. I can use my gift checks after all. But anyway, what is up with Gil and Hanna? Or with Gil at least? It turns out he himself offered to teach her, and then when we questioned him, cause Levs is getting so irritated already, and he'd come up with super evasive answers like "Nauuhaw ako." or "Uwi na ako." Then he'd stand up and leave, read a newspaper, etc. Very evasive, very suspicious.
Here are some pics in Bo's coffee. :D

The chairs were cozy, the lights were not dim at all, plus you have air-conditioned and non-air-conditioned spots. So you can transfer when you get too cold, I guess. But of course, nothing beats hanging out at a place without the need to study. n____n
Grr.. It's annoying, I can't even feel the thrill of the nearness of the sembreak. It's too far away. -_- It's too bad too, cause I'm in the middle of watching 2 really nice series and one really nice book. T_T
A little depressing day~

October 09, 2007
Yesterday started out fine, I woke up late and relaxed for my Operations final exam, which is an "open notes-no study required" kind of exam, got to school early and decided to hang-out in the library since I had nothing to do.
And then the bad things start. By some stupid twist of fate, I got to the exam at fifteen minutes to four, when the exam was scheduled at 2thirty and was scheduled to END at four. And then I realized, "Shet,
wala akong yellow sheets!" So I run to our building's coop, to find that they were out of stock. OUT OF STOCK? Since when has the coop ever been out of stock? And of yellow pad no less! GAAAH!
In that moment of panic, one of my very laid back RPT batchmates stepped into the store. Why he was in BA, I don't know, but I was a little relieved to see him since I needed to vent out some panic. Good thing my dear RPT batchmate was well equipped to handle my nearly-hysterical-close to screaming-panic. He tried to ask his groupmates for yellow pad, but they were all out. T_T So I ended up buying columnar pad, praying that my prof wouldn't mind.
I got to the exam and grabbed a questionnaire from the teacher's table in front of the room, ignoring the few chuckles of my classmates. The teacher was no where in sight, and I don't remember ever answering an exam that fast. Thankfully, the exam extended by thirty minutes, and I was almost finished by the time the teacher announced that we had to pass our papers. But I was still halfway through the last essay, so summoning up all my courage, and praying simultaneously in my head, I asked the teacher to give me an extension. Good thing she's one of the nicest, kindest, most understanding and best teachers in the world! She gave me an extension, unfortunately, this cost me my attendance in the accounting make-up class which was scheduled at 4thirty. And missing this class cost me the chance to get my exam corrected, if indeed there were corrections. -__-
And then our batch rankings were announced. *sigh* Can this day get any worse? -_- We're 60-70 in the batch, and I didn't make it to the top 30 i think. Just the kind of thing you'd want to hear after submitting the sloppiest exam you've ever answered.
I headed to the CE tambayan afterwards, where I enjoyed a short ranting session, followed by some jamming in the dark. ^_^ Then we went to Flaming wings to eat some good food, then I was off to McDo to study. And surprisingly, some of the "Ocean's" were there. Although hanging out with the CE people cheered me up a bit, back in McDo (hiding from the classmates I wasn't close to), the same feeling of failure came haunting me again. Plus I actually almost missed an exam! (though why this bothers me, I don't know, considering I got an extension anyway.)
Maybe this feeling of failure comes from Schmendrick the magician.
This entry is draggingly too long already, so I don't think I'll expound further. :p
another-mindlessly-worthless-discovery..

I am mildly allergic to tomatoes.. and consequently tomato ketchup.
Aha! No wonder I itch like crazy every time I eat my ham-lettuce-and-tomato sandwiches! I thought at first that maybe I was allergic to the ham or the mayo, cause as you all know, I eat ketchup like crazy all the time. But then again, ketchup just makes me slightly itchy, but the combination of both turns my nose into a
caterpillar-infested-cave-of-itchiness (also considering that the holes of the tomato slices are super filled with tomato ketchup). ^_^; Hehe.. poor me, that was my lunch for my 116 exam.
The discovery? I was with a bunch of CE people and they happened to mention a term "Hanashi", from which we deduced a rather yucky meaning. Suddenly, someone commented that I had turned red, presumably cause of the said Japanese term. Even Bong commented that she had never seen anyone turn so red before. ^^; Knowing full well that I was not in the least affected by the term, and suddenly aware that I was also itching all over, I concluded that I might be allergic to the new McDo milkshake. Hehe.. How dense am I? The inability to connect the common food item in the instances of this allergy was rather appalling. :p
But as I had finished my fries and had a half-full glass of milkshake, I continued drinking what I had paid for, and the itchiness eventually subsided, leading to the final realization that it
was indeed the ketchup that caused my embarrassingly-timed-turning-red. Tsk..
I later told Bianca, mentioning even Bong's comment while I was at it, to which she replied: "I've seen you turn really red before.." and she said that it had been during dinner time, and she thinks it might have been the food. Hmm.. And I never even noticed. ^_^
And I thought about it, and there
was one or two instances in Wendy's and McDo when Vigile said that I had turned red. Link the fastfood with the fries and the ketchup? ^_^ But that was about more than a year ago, so no one can blame me for not recalling. :P
But then again, ketchup just causes really mild itching on my part, so it's understandable that I never notice it. And I think tomatoes are really "prone" to causing allergies.
And that's it for this mindlessly shameless and worthless and self-centered entry! Hahaha~ (^_^)v

It's too slow!! X( And another test I took showed that my download connection can get as low as 146.8 kbps, while my upload speed is as low as 15kbps. AAArrrggghhh!!! No wonder I can't even upload a small little word file on my yahoo groups. -_____-
