UPDATES AND CHANGES
I am merely announcing, so sit tight and accept it! (Side Note: This is one of the things brought up during my late night visit with Sig. She said that if I had time, I could write chapters, (she said I could even write about Axyll and DS XD) etc., so we had to discuss and clear out a few things first. :D)
*Reiko is no longer a main Phoenix hero - but he's still heir of the dragon and helps in the phoenix, much like Giron helps out Fe. So he still plays an important part in the "Kisa support" department, again like Giron for Fe. He'll also live in the Phoenix for some time and helps contribute to the army. :)
*Celeste is no longer Laconic - as much as it pains me, Celeste must undergo a lot of character changes, since aside from the fact that Axyll has turned too much like the character description of Celeste (inc. the calm, level-headed, laconic aspect) in the chapters released so far, it turns out that Celeste's character needs a little more clarification. For instance, she's weak at combat (despite being a wolf) since her training (still under the very negligent Gaihla) was aimed at healing magic, since the wolf probably felt that their current (and only) healer is too unreliable and hence the need for a new one. That is not to say however, that Axyll gets Celeste's character description. A lot of things are still the same, such as the aloofness of Celeste, so it won't be a major overhaul. In depth clarification later on. ^^;
*Celeste and DS were not in love at first - again, a very old point I keep raising but nobody until yesterday listened to. -_- Who can believe that a 7 year old and a 13yr old were already in love at that point in life? So much so that when the 7yr old turns into a 16 year old, we find her moping about the locket her lost "lover" gave her? It's just plain WRONG. Her image of him will be at best an imagined adult likeness. Best friends, yes, but love? Too silly. Sig concedes. If (for vigile's sake) the two must end up falling in love, that happens later on in the story.
*Conrad is no longer the son of a prominent Serpent Lord - Indeed, it is quite an amazing coincidence that everyone in the Phoenix "just so happened" to have come from some spectacular bloodline. Kisa and Reiko are Kenji's children, Celeste is Gaihla's apprentice (with the bloodline of some important druidess not to mention), Axyll is the daughter of a dead Lotus Zen master, etc. Originally, I think only Deepscar has a regular background, save the incident that he was kidnapped. Ferendil HAD a regular background, but she's Zymeth's secret weapon now. ^^; Since Celeste can't be demoted further (or else we can't explain Dae), Conrad gets demoted. :p
*Axyll-Deepscar-Celeste have a love triangle - Sig herself said that she really didn't get how Celeste and Deepscar got together, aside from the fact that they were both Wolves, especially since Celeste's character seems quite aloof and cold, but she did mention (after reading the chapter Vigile wrote about A&DS's meeting) that she saw sense in this other pairing. I've always thought it was unfair to me that nobody took my opinions about the matter very seriously. Just because I bring it up often and just because it comes from me doesn't mean it doesn't make any sense. -_- But since Sig sensed Vigile would freak, the whole thing is a reconciled into a love triangle.
*There is a big chance that Celeste will no longer lose her memory after revival - too complicated.
*Might add a new Scorpion Master - this is to balance out the numbers. :) contemplating a character for Kimmy (^^;) or moving Reiko, though the latter isn't very likely.
*Dae and Celeste no longer have a prophecy - too many prophecies already. Considering the main story circles on one big prophecy, adding mini-side-prophecies will only mess up things. ^^
I kinda forgot the others.. Hehe..
But I've been fair, I've been patient, and now I'm making changes! Yeah! This is with the authorization of our head writer, Sig., though a lot of the above were her ideas. :)
Actually, Sig was seriously contemplating scrapping the entire CxDS love story, since there are too many love stories in the fanfic already. Usually, as Sig said, only the lead character (in this case, Conrad and Kisa) have that in an adventure/fantasy story. But since "Vigile might freak", we're keeping the story, cause even I can see the inevitability of their ending up with each other. -_-
Yesterday's Reunions

I had quite a day yesterday. ^_^ It started with my waking up really really late, and cursing myself for my utter laziness. (Apparently, the whole afternoon sched set-up really doesn't work for me, since I barely get to study in the evening and I end up oversleeping in the morning.) Anyhoo~ So I tried to cram as much law gabble as I could that morning, till I realized that I had to go commute to school already. Realizing that I was facing a severe shortage of funds, I opted to take the 1-jeep route through T. Sora, instead of the 2-jeep route through Philcoa. The route I took normally takes at LEAST 30 minutes, especially at that hour when Balara elementary kids go home, but for some great blessing of fate, there wasn't a single tangle of traffic in sight. @_@ The whole trip took a mere 7 minutes. So great. XD I was just in time for my lunchtime meeting.
Then after my meeting (really tasty free lunch included ^^) I headed over to the tambayan, trying once again to study. That's when I received the text that 1 of my two classes for the day was suspended. "Yes!" I think. "More time to study for law!" So I study a bit more, then I got yet another text, "NO CLASS in BA166 (law on sales) also". What better blessing can we ask for??? Everyone was praising the day. Considering our other law subject (tax) was cancelled the day before, it felt like a mini-vacation. XD
So I dropped all my books and started chatting and eating in the tambayan. We then discovered that there was an event in AS which my org joined, complete with all sorts of freebies. ^^; So we headed there, intent on fattening ourselves up with free Pringles-like chips, yogurt, and choco/strawberry/coffee flavored milk. XD On top of all the free food, there was a Kodak booth there that takes pictures and prints them for free. They had a big quota to meet, so there were really generous with the number of pics we could have. XD Unfortunately, the trio wasn't available.
Sayang. We also had fun hanging out in our org's booth. The event itself seemed interesting, it even had evicted PBB housemates as hosts. ^^; You can see a few more pics at my multiply. :D (No housemates though.. ^^;)

It rained though, so I headed to the RPT tambayan and got to hang out with some of my teammates, special mention to batch '04. XD Being (as I now realize) the oldest resident batch in RPT, we stuck around after everyone left and got to talk a bit about how each other was doing, etc. Imagine, we're now on our 4th year as members, our 4th year together! It's been some time since I got the chance to sit down and talk to them, so it was nice. :) Marge is right, our batch is great. XD Even some of the higher batches think our batch is cute. Hehe.. ^^;
Then, after the rain lessened a bit, I went to the JPIA mem's party, despite the fact that I really wanted to head home already. It was surprisingly fun though, so no regrets there. Free dinner too! XD
And then, at 10thirty pm, once again reminded of my meager budget, I proceeded to walk from Vangaurd to Sig's house on a VERY SPECIAL SECRET MISSION. Hehehe... Not very far, though I had to psyche myself out every few minutes that there wouldn't be any frogs hopping out at me if I was careful. In case you guys don't know, that street is like one of the ULTIMATE frog crossing streets in UP. X_x Since the guard closed the street while I was walking on it, I was at liberty to walk in the middle of the road where there was less chances of a froggy surprise attack, and if I do see a frog from either side of the street, I can avoid it asap. XD
So when I got to Sig's house, much to her surprise since I didn't have load to warn her of my coming, we got to talk about lots of stuff, and by 1 am, I had succeeded in my secret mission. Hehe.. *winks at Sig* I do hope it turns out okay though.. @__@
Yay! It was fun, I got to bond with Sig, and my rpt batchmates, jpians, and ce people, I got loads of free delicious food, and I didn't have classes on the day i didn't study for anything. Great great great!!! And I was able to do it all in one day. XD

Oh yeah.. I forgot to mention that this is the first time in my entire college life that I have less than 18 units. ^^ Maybe that's another reason why it feels weird. ^^;
Do you guys feel the *joy* of my 118.1 class? Accounting professors have obviously never heard of the great "Learning Curve". Last sem, our accounting classes were even 3 hours long. Tsk.. It's no wonder we have a hard time learning what we have to learn. @_@

I've been missing for so long, I dunno where to start. :p
I had my computer reformatted twice this week. @__@ As a result I've been getting pretty stressed out cause the timing of the reformatting just so happened to coincide with 2 important papers i had to accomplish, deadline yesterday, Friday. I managed to finish both, cramming them till the last possible minute. I remember finally getting ready to print them out then realizing that we hadn't installed our printer yet. Crazy! And I was finally able to print them on the exact MINUTE I needed to get to school. :p Late again. Tsk tsk... And I managed it by sacrificing much of my sleep, so the rest of the day, I actually had eyes that felt like they were burning. W_W And so I slept really early yesterday (around 8pm?) and woke up the next day at 10am. I think I'm getting too attached to my sleep. :p
But as you all know, with reformatting necessarily comes data burning, and I managed to come across some artifacts that I saved and forgotten. Hehe... See here:

Which reminds me, I recently came across a Johnny's Junior group, Kanjani 8(?), on TV. They were singing a song I remember listening to in my first year, Eden. T_T Amagad! The song itself has a nostalgic quality about it, so I suddenly found myself digging up my old jpop files and loading them into my cellphone to listen to. Shocking to believe that it's been around 5-6 years since vigile first stumbled on nhk and introduced Kat-tun to the trio. ^_^ When I listen to those songs, for some bizarre reason, I remember studying in the math building before an exam. I'm not sure if it was for Math17 or Math100, but for sure I was in first year, in the math bldg. I still used to use my Sony discman then, too. ^^;
I told Tracy about it, and she was weirded out by the fact that I actually remembered studying. Not that I remembered what I studied though, just the general feeling of being in the empty 3rd floor of the math building some morning long ago, cramming. ^^; I guess for some bizarre reason, I have "song memories". What that is, I'll explore sometime in the future, but I'm feeling a bit lazy today. :p

And then I also happened to listen to a song sung by the younger juniors, and I remember that I particularly disliked one of those kids. And one day, while I was once again airing my dislike, vigile (she was probably irritated with the idea by then) commented that I have a tendency to dislike things quite intensely. Or something like that. ^^; And I realized in retrospect that just as that is likely, I also have the equal tendency to like things intensely. Like in Kat-tun, I get overly defensive for my favorite member at times, and a bit mean to members i don't really like, like Kame. XD Though I don't think I dislike him so much now. But of course, I also have a very very wide margin of neutrality...
See the image? The whole light gray is my neutral part, i think. The red and white are the like/dislike parts, the dark gray parts are the slightly like/dislike parts, but still neutral. Its hard to explain though, so I'll stop now and leave anyone reading this to wonder why I brought it up anyway. ^^; But as a disclaimer, that's just what I think. ^^;

Even further down memory lane (yes, as cheesy as it sounds, i'm sticking to it for this entry) I also got to think about the cousins. Just why and how did we (Ejers) end up fighting with Katrina anyway? If I remember correctly, she used to be my closest Certeza cousin till something happened. ~_- Weird that I totally forgot though. I remember that we used to sort ourselves into the "Firsters", "Seconders" and the "Lasters". XD Silly, but the firsters were the first born cousins, i.e. me, Cara and Rob. The Seconders were the second ones, Bianca, France and Katrina, and the Lasters (sometimes referred to as Thirders, which is the incorrect term for them since there is a fourth-born child in the group) were Bernice, Renzo, Angel and Justinne. Of course, the Firsters were the elite group. XD But then again, we were always the unofficial leaders of the cousins. ^^; And supposedly, we liked each other best. ^^ Which was also true for most seconders. Hehe.. France admitted that her favorite cousin used to be Katrina, then afterwards, it became Bianca. Cute, ne? But its so weird that I forgot why we fought with Katrina.. KATRINA!! Do you remember????

Anyway, I really should get on with my homework. I dunno why, but for some weird reason this semester feels really different from before. Other than the fact that Gremio and I have been going out the past few weekends, and that I'm a mere member in all my orgs, at times even an inactive member, and that a lot of my friends have graduated or have no time for me anymore, it just feels different. My schedule for one thing. During 3/4ths of the week, it feels so crazily busy that I barely sleep, and yet when that's over, suddenly there's a vacuum of nothing to do (usually friday and tuesday nights), hence the long sleep and gimmick times. Weird weird.. To put in simply, this sem is more like a roller coaster than all my previous sems. Or at least it is right now. The busy times are really really busy times and the free times are really really free. I suppose it has a lot to do with the absence of extracurricular activity. -_-

Anyway, before I end, I watched a movie on HBO quite recently. About a gang of friends who grew up to be really different women. One's a divorcee, another is was a disillusioned but successful entrepreneur, another is unemployed, another is a happy and rich housewife (i think). Basta! Don't expect me to get the synopsis right cause I wasn't watching it closely till the end, but the bottom line is they're very very different women. ^^; And then sometime during the end, one of them commented on how different they were, and that she frequently wondered that if they didn't use to be friends and had just met at that point in life, would they have become friends at all? To which her husband said he didn't think it likely. (sorry I'm a bad storyteller.)
But anyway, I had that exact same thought more than once in my life. But the story was cute in that they still stayed close friends although their lives were so far apart and different.
Well, I think I'll end with that. There's only so much I can type before even I lose interest in the entry. ^^ I don't know if I'm making sense, but anyway, that's it. ^^;

Mall-hopping!

Wow... 4 malls in 4 days, obviously, I'm now pretty tired and penniless. Hehe..
It started with Robinson's MetroEast, Tuesday. Halloween, my mom and tita wanted to drop by MegaMall, but it didn't push through. So we ended up watching anime for the rest of the day (cause France wanted to. ^^) On Thursday we went to Trinoma, Friday we went to Ayala Town Center, then Saturday we headed to Gateway. Today, we're scheduled to go to Greenhills, but I don't know if we'll push through, since it's the last day of the sembreak for some of the cousins.
I haven't been able to do much reading, although I did finish the Painted Veil this sembreak.
Anyway, the funny thing about going to all these malls is that I didn't really go shopping much. For Trinoma and ATC, I went with my family, and the cousins split into 2, Rob, Renzo and Bern, then Me, France and Bianca. The first group went shopping in the truest sense, buying shirts, shoes, etc. The second group, well, we looked around a bit, then we played in the arcades. In Trinoma, we even stumbled onto a pretty "Garden of Stars" and spent a good hour or two just taking pictures.
And here I must once again lament on the sad fate of the photographer. Since we were using my phone, Bianca and France got loads of pictures of themselves, and I got about 4 out of the 60+. And while I flatter myself as I say so, I think I was also the best skilled at taking pictures among us three. So they got the nicer pics. :( They acknowledge it, so don't mind my saying so. As France said: "Quality and Quantity kami [ni Bianca], ikaw...*cough*..silence." =_= You can check my multiply for the pics. :) I think I want to go to the Star Gardens with the Trio. =^_^=
And Gremio and Vigile has discovered a new favorite arcade game. Good bye big drums with picture taking for high scores! Hello guitar and percussion freaks. Yes, I know we're a little late catching on to this trend, but catch on we have. XD France and I are the ones on drums, Vigile and Gremio on the guitars.
And we've once again proven that Gremio is Konata from Lucky Star. In Big R, we decided to try out the crane game, and on our first try, we were able to snag a cute tennis playing looking snoopy doll. Hehe.. And if that's not enough, we also tried the sit-down arcade games and played virtual tennis in Big R and Soul Caliber in Gateway. She fought Vigile in tennis, and from what I gather, Vigile plays this game a lot, and it was Gremio's first time. She beat Vigile and the computer and went forward for about several games. In Soul Caliber, she beat some guy who I presume often played the game, since he was confident enough to keep challenging her after about 4(?) losses. He eventually gave up, and she went on to fight the computer. And besides, she spends almost all her time at home on an online RPG, just like Konata. Hehe.. Shocking how similar they really are. ^^;
Which reminds me, have I ever mentioned how lucky I am in Timezone? I always (as in always) manage to get free games each and every time, since before. ^^; Once in Eastwood, I got about 4 free games, including drums, para para, and some shooting game. Last time in Big R, I found a free crane game while Gremio and Vigile were playing at the counter. Then in ATC, I found a free House of the Dead 4, and a Motorcycle game. And we (France, Bianca and I) got a free percussion freaks game as well. In Trinoma, I found a free Point Blank (sp?) game, and in Gateway, I found a free shooting game and a race car game. Vigile and Gremio also found a free Soul Caliber and candy crane game while France found a free Time Crisis game. Sometimes, I think you can almost survive with just free games in Timezone. Hehe...
And you know what, Bernice actually went on a Tagaytay trip with her friends even though she wasn't given permission to do so. As in my mom said no, and she sneaked away on the pretense of visiting a friend. Then when she didn't come home despite the really really late hour, she texted my mom that she was already in Tagaytay. --__-- WTH And then, when we got around to talking about it this lunchtime (she isn't home yet, btw) my dad ended up questioning me about our fight, since we haven't patched up yet. I said I was neutral and indifferent, and Bianca admitted that Bernince was still angry.
Sya pang may ganang magalit eh sya nga yung nang-away at nagsimula. Grr... Could be because I outshouted her in the actual fight. I think I'm the only one in the world who can do that. Hehe.. And in her bitter pride, she demanded to be let down from the car. Hah! As if my mom would allow her. That must have been a big blow. But I really don't think what she does is right, she always has insults for everybody, including our parents, and she practically punctuates her sentences with swear words. Plus she's mean to Twinky and a lot of people. Tsk..

And eww.. Gateway was filled with bratty kids yesterday! There was one that insisted on getting the huge bambi stuffed doll from the uber expensive crane game. Sadly, it was impossible to grab, cause it was really heavy, but her mom had to keep trying. Tsk. But worse was the brat who kept insisting on BREAST feeding in the jeep I took after leaving Gateway. And she looked about 4-5 years old. X( So she kept tugging at her mother's neckline demanding it too! And she insisted on it so much that her mother did breast feed her. In the jeep. Full of people. So awkward! Eww.. >_<
Oh, and we also hung out in my second cousin's house. The Limon's. For the Certeza cousins in the US out there, we played video games with them like we did when we were littler children. They're really nice and it was fun. ^_^; They had an N64, and we had pics with them on tita Mylene's camera. ^^;

Yay! I'm finally on sembreak! I haven't been blogging, cause I'm busy filling my days with things I don't usually have time for during the sem. To give you a little clue, I'd like to quote something my friend aji texted me...

Must say.. it's quite accurate. Hehe.. Just 2 days ago, I went to Big R with Gremio, Vigile and Froosh. I think I've been out of the house almost everyday. @_@ And when I DO stay home, I'm practically glued to the computer or TV. Hehe.. I've been reading good books and watching good series and anime. Yeah!

And, I'm learning to take the art of "documentation" to heart! Yeah! It used to be vigile's thing to take pics of every outing, and despite my phonecam, I usually get lazy. Hence my dead multiply account. But as of 2 days ago, I've made and effort. Too much even, that I've been reduced to "
dakilang photographer" status while everyone else gets to enjoy their jamming. >_< No complaints, the bright side is I still have a bit of money for the rest of the sem break. XD

And for those of you who enjoy reading really nice books, try The Painted Veil. GAAh! It's probably one of the (if not the ) saddest story of unrequited love I've ever ever read. T_T I really almost cried too. The movie changed the story and isn't as sad, so I recommend you read it first. XD
