Yesterday's Reunions

I had quite a day yesterday. ^_^ It started with my waking up really really late, and cursing myself for my utter laziness. (Apparently, the whole afternoon sched set-up really doesn't work for me, since I barely get to study in the evening and I end up oversleeping in the morning.) Anyhoo~ So I tried to cram as much law gabble as I could that morning, till I realized that I had to go commute to school already. Realizing that I was facing a severe shortage of funds, I opted to take the 1-jeep route through T. Sora, instead of the 2-jeep route through Philcoa. The route I took normally takes at LEAST 30 minutes, especially at that hour when Balara elementary kids go home, but for some great blessing of fate, there wasn't a single tangle of traffic in sight. @_@ The whole trip took a mere 7 minutes. So great. XD I was just in time for my lunchtime meeting.

Then after my meeting (really tasty free lunch included ^^) I headed over to the tambayan, trying once again to study. That's when I received the text that 1 of my two classes for the day was suspended. "Yes!" I think. "More time to study for law!" So I study a bit more, then I got yet another text, "NO CLASS in BA166 (law on sales) also". What better blessing can we ask for??? Everyone was praising the day. Considering our other law subject (tax) was cancelled the day before, it felt like a mini-vacation. XD

So I dropped all my books and started chatting and eating in the tambayan. We then discovered that there was an event in AS which my org joined, complete with all sorts of freebies. ^^; So we headed there, intent on fattening ourselves up with free Pringles-like chips, yogurt, and choco/strawberry/coffee flavored milk. XD On top of all the free food, there was a Kodak booth there that takes pictures and prints them for free. They had a big quota to meet, so there were really generous with the number of pics we could have. XD Unfortunately, the trio wasn't available. Sayang. We also had fun hanging out in our org's booth. The event itself seemed interesting, it even had evicted PBB housemates as hosts. ^^; You can see a few more pics at my multiply. :D (No housemates though.. ^^;)

It rained though, so I headed to the RPT tambayan and got to hang out with some of my teammates, special mention to batch '04. XD Being (as I now realize) the oldest resident batch in RPT, we stuck around after everyone left and got to talk a bit about how each other was doing, etc. Imagine, we're now on our 4th year as members, our 4th year together! It's been some time since I got the chance to sit down and talk to them, so it was nice. :) Marge is right, our batch is great. XD Even some of the higher batches think our batch is cute. Hehe.. ^^;

Then, after the rain lessened a bit, I went to the JPIA mem's party, despite the fact that I really wanted to head home already. It was surprisingly fun though, so no regrets there. Free dinner too! XD

And then, at 10thirty pm, once again reminded of my meager budget, I proceeded to walk from Vangaurd to Sig's house on a VERY SPECIAL SECRET MISSION. Hehehe... Not very far, though I had to psyche myself out every few minutes that there wouldn't be any frogs hopping out at me if I was careful. In case you guys don't know, that street is like one of the ULTIMATE frog crossing streets in UP. X_x Since the guard closed the street while I was walking on it, I was at liberty to walk in the middle of the road where there was less chances of a froggy surprise attack, and if I do see a frog from either side of the street, I can avoid it asap. XD

So when I got to Sig's house, much to her surprise since I didn't have load to warn her of my coming, we got to talk about lots of stuff, and by 1 am, I had succeeded in my secret mission. Hehe.. *winks at Sig* I do hope it turns out okay though.. @__@

Yay! It was fun, I got to bond with Sig, and my rpt batchmates, jpians, and ce people, I got loads of free delicious food, and I didn't have classes on the day i didn't study for anything. Great great great!!! And I was able to do it all in one day. XD
