Movie Marathoning..

I downloaded some random movies that I was curious about, one of them being The Talented Mr. Ripley. I was curious about the film because, as you may or may not know, Matt Damon won sexiest man of the year last year, i think. This I find rather hard to accept, cause I do not find him appealing in the least bit. So anyway, it turns out his friends George Clooney, Brad Pitt, and Ben Afleck have been campaigning for him to win the said title (for a couple of years now?). George Clooney was clearly very passionate about it. XD In an interview, he said that the moment he watched The Talented Mr. Ripley, he was sure Damon should get the award, and when Damon lost to another "Matt" last last year,McConaughey that is, Clooney said they'd be tightening the "campaign" for 2007. So I downloaded it out of curiosity. And it helped that Jude Law was in the movie. XD

But the movie ended up depressing me. @_@ So I stopped watching it and then my computer said it didn't have space, so I deleted it before I could even finish. ^^; I'm not really sure why it depressed me, but then again, the movie had so many tangled lies, and what not. Plus you get to think about how life is unfair and how people treat others as dispensable, or how some people just act without thinking and get themselves into horrible situations... Urgh. @_@ And the fact that you think you know it'll end bad, cause how else can it end? It was crazy.

Another movie I downloaded was The Covenant, which was weird cause the moment I finished downloading it, I found out it was playing on HBO. Hehe.. I actually saw it on TV while I was on the computer, except my download was complete and the movie on HBO was halfway through, so I watched it on the computer anyway. :p

I also downloaded Tristan and Isolde for some people at home, since I've watched the movie. ^^ Again, I got so irritated with Tristan and his "foolish" ways. -_- But if I recall correctly, the real story didn't have him as foolish. -_-

I also downloaded Stardust, but it was of bad quality so I deleted it. :p

And finally, I've also been downloading more ebooks. I actually can't believe how much ebooks Bianca and I now have. XD Though I have a feeling neither of us can finish reading all of them, and I still need to get used to them. XD No matter, at least we have a wide selection.
