*gush gush gush!!*

I apologize in advance for the gushing, it's just that it's been a while since I was catapulted into the euphoric state of gushiness that usually comes after I finish a book, movie or show that I really really liked. I didn't realize it till last night (cause I was hanging out with Sig and Vigile) but apparently, when I'm in such a state, I just start gushing about things out of nowhere. ^^ I could gush about anything and everything, probably. ^^; Even imaginary food trips that haven't taken place yet, or other such weird things. Anyway, before I end up with a novel depicting this strange state of mind, I better move on to the object of my recent gushiness. :p (I'm limiting the gushing to the shows I've seen/ finished watching within the last 3 days.)
Kyou Kara Maou.
Yes, I loved it. And I finished it. All 79 episodes of it. This is probably one of the longest anime I have ever watched in my life, because truth be told, I'm not very fond of super long anime (or books even) because I tend to lose interest somewhere along the way. But this was so funny, I even liked the filler episodes. (Although they probably aren't really filler episodes, I just call it that because that's what people call the Naruto episodes that are outside the looooong main story line.) It's pretty weird in a good, funny and imaginative kind of way. Plus the art is great. And so is the music (my favorite song is the 2nd ending). And the script is really funny too. Even the dubbed version is likable, because though I hate Wolfram's English voice, I can relate more to the side comments and crack that the characters love to make. ^_^ And season 2 (ep 39-79) was even better than season 1, and the whole series ended very nicely. :D
I can practically see Sig's eyebrows twitching. XD If you feel like watching something light-hearted and funny, watch this! Sure, there are a couple of gay guys roaming about, and a bunch of walking ironies every now and then, as well as the weirdest sword in the world, but at least we get interesting characters in our story, right?? :D :D
My favorite characters are: 1) Yuri Shibuya, 2) Gwedal von Voltaire 3) Conrad Weller 4) Wolfram (although I have to admit I didn't really like him at first. ^^)

Gossip Girl
She's back, and so are the scandals. ^^; We've watched the 5 available episodes from the newest season, and again we were hooked. *chants: chuck and blair : chuck and blair* We actually hit the sack at 6:30 am this morning, because we started watching it so late and then we couldn't stop. (Which is usually the case with all good enough shows right?) Plus the fact that we have to wait 30 minutes in between each episode cause we were downloading each during the night itself. :p
Nate still is the best looking guy (and last night we noticed just how nice his voice was), but he still is probably the dumbest. Poor Blair. Even in the midst of a big crisis, he's still out courting and dating some girl, leaving Blair and Chuck to unleash all the brain power in their elite little group. ^^ Unfortunately, Dan and Serena still irritate me somewhat, because their relationship is STILL one big roller coaster of misunderstanding/trying to understand the other, making-out, monologues/dialogues on their emotions. Pffft. And Jenny has become... urgh. I wanted to poke out her social climbing, money-grubbing, spoiled and selfish eyeballs about a hundred times already in the few episodes I've seen. -__- And I want to kill the new girl too. Ooohh~ Spoilers? But seriously, why do they keep hiring that actress? @_@ I didn't like her in the show *toot*, and I don't like her now. Sorry. -__-
But still, the story was terribly exciting. ^^;
